I kinda resent the term "gender war" bc it implies women are like, equally to blame or something. Like we werent literal property for the majority of human history. Women are reacting to having to share a planet with their natural predators. Men hold p much all the systemic power and always have. Like trying to say a fight and a beating are the same

This was one of the most interesting, eye opening & though provoking YT clips I've seen in ages. Had no idea that YT came about because of Janet Jackson's wardrobe mishap at the Super Bowl XXXVIII/2004 & that google images was "inspired" by J Lo's infamous green Versace dress. So much to reflect on, look forwards to Part 2. 💚

I had braces for like 12 years like I don’t know what people want sometimes I’m just like I don’t have a manifesting it but it feels like whatever I do I still look like crap but it might just be that I manifesting it

Black people are not ugly. I saw black all my life as very beautiful. Plus dirt oil and stones dug out of the BOWELS of the earth have never made one person better than another. Its is good over evil, what is our HEART attatched to that makes all the difference. We need both physical and spiritual knowledge to address both body and soul.

Remember when our society was so h0m0phobic we invented an orientation for men that used moisturizer? 🙄 (metrosexual). Anyways, I’m glad we aren’t there anymore but it does seem like a double edged sword. Like these men aren’t going to be called gay but now welcome to the crushing reality of capitalism telling you to change everything about you 🙃

I see the point of this video not to say the correct answer is always men, or invalidate women’s terrible experiences. But to seek to understand and potentially repair the root issues between the cynicism behind each gender or each other as people, it has already been there, but this questioned heightened.

When he released Marvin's Room, I realized Drake was a faux nice guy. He used that woman's voice without paying her and the entire song is him hating on the girl for finding someone who committed to her. I dropped his ass when he came for Meg. As an older Black Guy - all this means to me (while all valid) is that you all have lost the "who" in all this. You're all about the "what" people look like. Oh and I get it. I've always been physically attracted to East Asian and Southeast Asian women, even when I was a little boy and I only ever saw any of them on TV! But it was that "look" that sent me on a mission to find it and my first Southeast Asian wife in the 90s when I was in my 30s. It lasted 12 years and one beautiful Blasian child. I wasn't really ready. So I went back to the Philippines and found current wife. I then knew what I wanted but more importantly, I knew "who" I needed to be. All this to say - you are exactly correct in your content here - and that in the end none of it matters because AFTER what you look like snags you someone, its "who" you are that will keep them. i still like that my wife is Southeast Asian aesthetic but it is "who" she is that makes me love her NOT "what" she is or "what" she looks like. May sound corny, but after 62 years, this is what I have learned. We're still together after 16 years and we have a beautiful Blasian daughter, so now I have 2 - and they are everything. Peace!

All I do know is that this isn’t making the men with said tendencies be less threatening or murderous or the other thing UA-cam FOR SOME REASON doesn’t let us talk about. It’s pushing them further into their shells of sickness and I can just imagine twenty years from now, the numbers going up and up and up. Because this ain’t the way. All this does is make the good men ask themselves wtf is the point of being good anymore. What. Is the point. When the few taint the many. Not to mention the annoying argument I’ve heard is “well fewer bears kill people than men hurt women” DUH. duh duh duh. Because if you think about it, only a tiny portion of people even VENTURE into the habitats of bears in general. Even more seldom, bears come where we reside. And the tiniest little sliver actually encounter a BEAR! And even teenier tinier little number get attacked by bears. THATS why the numbers are off. And the justification of “well those girls have likely been hurt by men” sure. Some of them have. And this is coming from a girl who’s been victimized by men too many times throughout my life. I’ve never ONCE held it against the next man in my life. However he came in. Walking by, in a store, family member, next husband. None. And I also know very few girls in real life who haven’t been prey in one way or another. But SOME girls have willingly admit publicly they’ve never been victimized by any man. And are just going by what other people are saying. The point is, as humans in our own habitat yeah bad shits happening. I bet bears are killing bears just the same if you crunch the numbers. ESPECIALLY polar bears. Oh they also SA each other too. That’s sometimes essentially how animals do it. I mean we can’t know their thoughts FOR SURE but strike me dead if it doesn’t LOOK that way. Even bugs look that way. Or the animals WE kill in numbers 😂 so seems like nobody is exempt. Or that women kill more children (THEIR OWN CHILDREN included) than anyone else. So by this logic men should never ever trust a single one of us to have his babies. Ever. It’s a simple matter of being able to use discernment and logic and be understanding and accepting and direct your anger at those that deserve it. Only. That doesn’t mean I don’t get scared walking the streets at night alone in the dark. I would. But I’d be scared of ANY silhouette coming my way. Before even knowing it’s a man. I don’t get more comfortable by seeing it’s got on lashes. I just don’t put myself in those situations. Or I’d come prepared. Anyone can prey on anyone. In any way. And has anyone mentioned that the men doing the things they’re holding against most men have also most likely “been hurt by women” in their lives? So again all I know is this is just turning them against us in a more thorough way. So great job ladies!

Beauty is everywhere and even if people that fit a conventional beauty standard might attract more looks etc., doesn't mean that others will never get any interest at all. I was in a club full of people and who did I talk to? The nerd that needed a publicly accessible spot that's open at night and quiter than home (which was, due to his roommate, the club, apparently lol). He was doing math for his degree and I kept asking him about it because it made him more interesting than anyone else in the club to me. Nothing came of it because the group I was with moved around more and they were my ride but who am I dating now? A bunch of silly nerds of all shapes, faces and sizes because they're wonderful of heart and very nerdy. Looks are temporary. Personality, at the core, is forever, even if behaviour etc is changeable.

Let’s just say it how it is and avoid beating around the bush. An increasing number of young people and just everyone in general are not seeing the same level of wealth as previous generations (from a US perspective). As a result people question the benefits of capitalism and celebrity culture is just part of it. Then they tie that in with whatever new culture/political war happens and anyone who is not actively working to fix it ASAP are seen as an enemy

the final thoughts section made me suddenly realize that my father believed he loved me because he wanted to possess me. (not to trauma dump btw this is how I process by sharing what i went through into the void.) I have divorced blood parents and when I was still going between the two houses my father said he "loved" me but never tried to really know me, you know? I feel like he believed that having me there was all he needed to get the love reciprocated, by having my time that he was able to feel like he loved me. But he didn't really know me as a person - I started to realize over time that my father loved being a father, with no correlation to the children involved. That disconnect between possession and loving another person didn't exist in his head... he had to own them to love them. And when I cut all connection between him and myself, I found that pressure and weight from trying to fulfill the relationship to how I needed just disappeared. Thats what got me thinking lol, apologies if this doesn't make sense.
